We had a wonderful Anniversary and we were just itching to see a new picture of our little one. Dr.S continued to look at everything but noticed some dark areas on the side of the placenta. Babies heartbeat is strong and steady. Baby growing but, I have a large area on the right and a smaller on on the left. He called it a Sub Chronic Hematoma. There is nothing you can do for a Sub Chronic Hematoma. All you can do is refrain from activity. Bed rest and No sex is common so that you can heal. Sometimes it results in a miscarriage and there is nothing you or the doctor can do. You cannot have surgery or anything to help this. There is no known cause for a Sub Chronic Hematoma. It'r also known as SCH but many researchers and doctors have speculated that during egg implantation, the egg slightly separates or tears from the uterus causing a bleed. There is nothing I did or could have done to cause or prevent this. This is my first day on bed rest. I don't know how long I will be here but we will continue to hope for the best.
